About Us
Hearth Cacao is labour of love for us as well as being a source of passion and inspiration in our day to day lives.
We are Tiff and Nick, a husband and wife team passionate about sharing the joy of cacao with those around us.
It began with a Cacao Breathwork event in 2017 where Tiff first met the medicine of Cacao. Her body was activated by the taste and sensation of ceremonial grade cacao and from that moment, she was on the cacao path.
After several years of seeking, experimenting and enjoying, the love of cacao grew and grew. Nearly every guest that came to visit was treated to a special brew and many deep conversations and unravellings were had.
Having found a superb source of organic Peruvian cacao, it was time to share it more widely in the community and thus Hearth Cacao was born. In this time Tiff also began co-facilitating cacao events within her local community.
Cacao became a way to celebrate life, and to tune in to the moment and practice more mindfulness during our transition into parenthood. In the busy first years it has nourished our bodies and helped us to slow down and savour the journey of life.
Our mission for Hearth Cacao is to bring cacao into people’s lives, to educate about the ethical sourcing of cacao and to support those traditions and cultures that have worked with this plant for thousands of years.
Hearth (noun):
1. The floor of a fireplace.
2. Home.
3. A vital or creative centre.
Hearth Cacao is not just a clever name; it’s also a reflection of our values and purpose.
We blend the essence of “Heart” into our cacao, encouraging you to connect with your innermost self and the hearts of those around you.
At the same time, we honor the “Earth” by passionately upholding sustainable, organic, and ethical sourcing practices that respect the planet and the communities who nurture this sacred plant.
In uniting with this sacred plant medicine, we honour and give thanks to Gaia, to Mother Earth, and invite the medicine of Cacao to weave her magic throughout our lives, supporting our health, nourishing and connecting us, so that we in turn can support, nourish and connect with the planet.
Hearth Cacao is an invitation to come home to self, to stoke the fire within and to bring light and warmth to those inner realms waiting to be seen and explored
